Ooooo I found these photos online with no source, does anyone have the recipe??
I don’t quite remember where I found the recipe at, but it’s been in my book forever. So, here it is, hope it helps.
¾ cups flour
½ cup sugar
Pinch of salt
1 TBSP of corn meal
Dried sage
Dried thyme
¼ cup of meltedish butter
Little bit of milk (you can usually eyeball it)
Flowers (Not all the ones in the photo are edible, if you want to eat these use edible flowers).
Almonds (if desired)
In a bowl whisk together the flour, sugar, salt, corn meal, dried sage, and dried thyme. After that’s whisked together, add the ¼ cup of meltedish butter and mix it together. You then add the little bit of milk and knead until it comes together. Form 2 logs and chill for 10 min. Slice off pieces and press them down flat. Gently press in the flowers. Add almonds (if desired) and cook at 375 F for 15 min. Let cool and they’re done! :)
